Job summary

NSW Health's Maitland Hospital is recruiting a Midwifery Unit Manager to lead outpatient obstetric and gynaecology services, including MAPS, Gynaecology and EPAS clinics. You will shape care models, supervise rosters, mentor staff and support complex cases in a brand new role.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will drive staff welfare and service improvements while delivering high-quality patient care to the Maitland community.

Qualifications

• Must hold current registration as a Registered Midwife with Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in management; advanced clinical midwifery skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead outpatient services including MAPS, Gynaecology and EPAS clinics.
• Oversee staff welfare and rosters; triage referrals; mentor junior staff.
• Support complex cases and shape models of care for the team and community.
