NSW Health's Sydney Education is recruiting a Midwifery Educator Grade 3 on a temporary full-time basis to backfill maternity leave, 38 hours per week, Sydney. The role leads maternity education programs, mentors staff, coordinates student placements and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen workforce capability and ensure safe, evidence-based care for women and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maternity education and training programs across the District.
• Deliver and support perinatal safety and clinical skills education.
• Mentor and support Clinical Midwifery Educators and maternity staff.
• Coordinate and oversee undergraduate student placements.
• Support graduate midwives and professional development pathways.
• Contribute to quality improvement, workforce development and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance maternity workforce capability and patient outcomes.
