Job summary

Intetics Inc. is seeking an experienced WFM/Payroll Specialist for remote work from Australia. You will leverage at least three years of payroll, WFM and compliance experience to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and high client satisfaction.

The role involves interpreting awards and legislative requirements, performing reconciliations, transforming large datasets and supporting HRIS implementations. You will work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a global team.

Qualifications

• Australian payroll experience with 3+ years in payroll or WFM
• Experience with system implementations or payroll BAU
• Strong payroll capability and professional judgement

Responsibilities

• Interpret awards, EBAs and legislative requirements with accuracy and confidence
• Perform detailed reconciliations, compliance reviews and exception analysis
• Analyse and transform large payroll datasets, identifying anomalies and root causes
• Contribute to HRIS system implementations, including design, requirements and system audits
• Partner with clients during go‑live activities, optimisation of their systems and issue resolution
• Produce clear documentation, reporting and control frameworks aligned to best practice
• Advise stakeholders on WFM & Payroll risk, compliance and process improvements
• Collaborate with clients and delivery teams to drive consistent, high‑quality outcomes
• Contribute to continuous improvement across payroll operations and system capability

Who you are

You are an experienced Australian systems specialist with at least three years of experience and a strong understanding of workforce management, payroll processes, compliance obligations and the real-world impact of payroll accuracy. You take pride in delivering accurate, timely outcomes, and you are detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture and approaching broader problem‑solving conversations.

Your experience may come from system implementation and/or payroll BAU, consulting or a broader HR background with deep payroll exposure. You may have supported system implementations, testing, data validation or go‑live activities. What matters most is solid payroll capability, sound professional judgement and a genuine focus on Customer outcomes.

You communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure and are comfortable working independently in a remote environment while contributing to a high-performing team.
