Job summary

Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong seeks a permanent full-time Middle Leader 2, commencing 28 January 2027, to support the Principal in implementing the school’s vision and mission. The role focuses on fostering faith growth and improving student learning, while assisting the leadership team with school conduct and organisation.

The ideal candidate will promote Catholic life in the school community, lead data-informed teaching improvements, and drive professional learning and performance

The role of Middle Leader 2 exists to support the Principal in implementing the vision and mission of the school, to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students and assist the school leadership team in the conduct and organisation of the school.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

GENERAL CAPABILITIES applicable to the role:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Level D Accreditation in accordance with ‘Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong’ policy; and
• Level C Accreditation in accordance with ‘Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong’ policy or a commitment to gain within the first contractual period; and
• NESA Accreditation at Proficient Teacher level or above.
