Job summary

PROEKT Architecture, based in Claremont, is seeking a mid-to-senior Interior Designer to own interior design packages from concept through technical documentation, FF&E specification, and site delivery. You will work on integrated architectural projects and standalone interior design briefs across high-end homes and multi-residential spaces.

Responsibilities

• Concept & Spatial Design: Translate client briefs into refined spatial layouts, material palettes, and lighting concepts.
• Technical Documentation: Produce accurate CAD/BIM drawing packages (plans, elevations, joinery details, and construction schedules).
• Class 2 & Multi-Residential Execution: Apply deep knowledge of multi-dwelling construction standards to ensure design compliance and buildability.
• FF&E & Procurement: Source, specify, and schedule finishes, fixtures, equipment, and furniture tailored to client briefs and budgets.
• Collaborative Delivery: Coordinate directly with architects, builders, suppliers, and trades to maintain design integrity on site.

Based in Claremont, PROEKT is a boutique Architecture, Interior Design, and Project Advisory practice bridging the gap between inspired design and real-world construction feasibility. We craft tailored luxury residential homes, multi-residential spaces, commercial fitouts, hospitality, and specialized social infrastructure projects across Western Australia.

We aren't looking for shortcut-seekers or reality-TV enthusiasts (if your main inspiration is 'The Block' or 'Christina on the Coast, this isn't the role for you). We are hunting for a passionate, detail-driven Mid-to-Senior Interior Designer who takes immense pride in their design craft, technical documentation, and construction realities.

The Role

Working directly alongside leadership (supporting Vanessa Boyko) and our collaborative architecture team, you will take ownership of interior design packages from initial concept through to technical documentation, FF&E specification, and site delivery.

You will manage both integrated architectural projects and standalone interior design briefs across high-end custom homes, Class 2 multi-residential developments, and commercial spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Key Requirements (About You)

Experience: Minimum 3+ years post-graduation experience within Western Australia. High-end residential and Class 2 multi-dwelling experience is essential.

Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.

Software Mastery: High proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), and 3D rendering packages (SketchUp, Enscape, or similar).

Relationship Driven: Excellent client presentation skills and a strong commitment to building positive relationships with suppliers and site trades.
