NSW Health Pathology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is seeking two Medical Laboratory Assistants to support the Microbiology Laboratory. One full-time and one part-time permanent position are available.

The full-time role focuses on specimen reception and processing in a shift pattern that includes weekends and evenings. The part-time role covers administrative duties and specimen reception, 4.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Receive and triage specimens; register patients and enter requests.
• Assist with specimen processing and transport preparation.
• Provide general admin tasks within the lab.
• Proficient computer skills and attention to data accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
