Job summary

Mercure Perth in Perth is seeking a strategically minded Business Development Manager to lead our commercial strategy for MICE and Group sectors on a full-time basis. You will hunt for new opportunities, secure key corporate and MICE contracts, and maximize revenue across our event spaces and accommodations.

The role requires a proven BDM or senior sales track record in hospitality, with exceptional prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills and a deep understanding of the Perth CBD conference

Qualifications

• Proven BDM or senior sales record in hotels, MICE or groups.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills.
• Deep knowledge of Perth CBD corporate and conference landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial strategy and market expansion for MICE and Groups.
• Secure corporate and group contracts to maximize revenue.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through calls, site visits and proposals.
