Job summary

Water Corporation in WA invites applications for a Field Support role focused on meter-related services across the Perth metro area. You will deliver field-based customer support, replacements, inspections and investigations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You’ll work independently in all weather, travel across the metro area, and contribute to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. The role offers varied, hands-on work with a strong emphasis on service excellence.

Qualifications

• WA Class C Driver’s Licence is required.
• Knowledge of field-based operations in Metering Services and customer accounting.
• Strong customer orientation and service ethic.
• Ability to work independently outdoors in all weather.
• Willing to travel across the Perth Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Be part of developing, implementing, and refining customer-focused initiatives
• Changing of water meters in the Perth metro area
• Support team building, communication, and continuous improvement
• Investigate and resolve customer enquiries and complaints with expert insights
• Carry out ad hoc work such as remote logger replacements, obstruction clearance, investigations, Large meter pre validation’s and other projects, as required
• Perform meter tests to assist billing processes

Your skills and experience

For this role, we are looking for great talent with:

• a WA Class C Driver’s Licence
• Demonstrated knowledge of field based operations as it relates to Metering Services and customer accounting practices and processes.
• Demonstrated customer orientation and service ethic
• You’re comfortable working independently
• You’ll be working independently, often outdoors in all weather conditions, and safety will always be your top priority. This role will require travel throughout the Perth Metro area.
