Job summary

Evolution Mining’s Cowal site is seeking a Tradesperson - Electrical Instrumentation to join a tight-knit crew. You’ll work on a diverse gold processing operation, handling advanced instrumentation and electrical systems under supervision.

You will maintain and calibrate equipment, diagnose faults, and lead shutdown activities while mentoring apprentices, in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment with strong career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years experience in heavy industry or mining.
• Experience with high-voltage systems, instrumentation, and fault diagnostics.
• Willingness to work across a processing operation and mentor apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate equipment like Vega density gauges, Yokogawa pressure sensors, and Siemens PLCs.
• Diagnose faults and respond to breakdowns across the processing plant.
• Lead shutdown activities and mentor apprentices when needed.
