Job summary
Evolution Mining seeks an experienced Fixed Plant Electrical Tradesperson at our Cowal Gold Operation in Australia. You will be responsible for safely executing planned and breakdown maintenance across the processing plant and infrastructure, improving reliability through fault finding and quality workmanship.
Based at Cowal, you will join a collaborative maintenance team and support shutdowns, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Electrical trade qualification and unrestricted Electrical Licence.
- Experience in fixed plant, processing or heavy industrial maintenance.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and safe-work practices.
- Exposure to MCCs, VSDs, PLCs and instrumentation; HV switching and hazardous area qualifications are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Execute planned and breakdown electrical maintenance safely and efficiently.
- Perform fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
- Identify, report and rectify equipment defects and abnormal operating conditions.
- Support shutdowns, major maintenance activities and equipment commissioning.
