Job summary

Woolworths Group in Sydney is seeking an Operations Analyst focused on onboarding merchants to the Wpay platform. You will work with Product, Process Improvement, Customer Experience and Engineering to ensure smooth, secure onboarding and scalable merchant activation for in-store and online channels.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities to identify, break down and resolve issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and document workflows clearly.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Excel and project tools like Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Merchant onboarding & integration: ensure onboarding within SLA and timely progression.
• Collaborating across departments to clarify onboarding information with partners.
• Incident management & troubleshooting with engineering to resolve issues.
• Operational support for lifecycle service requests post onboarding.
• Risk management and AML/KYC compliance adherence.
• Continuous improvement by documenting SOPs and workflows.
