Job summary

Lindt & Sprungli is seeking enthusiastic Casual Sales Merchandisers in Brisbane to support our Grocery Channel. Join a brand-rich team and help keep Lindt chocolate front and centre in Woolworths, Coles and independents.

Approximately 10 hours per week with autonomy to plan your week, a focus on building relationships, stock management, and creating compelling in-store displays.

Qualifications

• Grocery retail experience with merchandising or field sales preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and plan a weekly schedule.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with customers.
• Willingness to perform stock moves and maintain displays.
• Must have full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
• Pre-employment medical required.
• Comfort with iPad and related apps.
• Manual handling capability.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers in designated territory.
• Build POS displays to showcase Lindt products.
• Merchandise on shelf: facing, ticketing, stock checks.
• Stock rotation and shelf maintenance.
• Identify in-store display opportunities to drive brand exposure and sales.
• Support Area Manager with preselling and display location negotiations.
• Record promotional compliance in CRM.
• Execute merchandising standards of excellence.
• Report store and consumer insights.

About the role:

We’re looking for energetic, vibrant individuals to help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate within our Grocery Channel (Woolworths, Coles, Independents). We are looking for people who are able to work around Indooroopilly and Brisbane CBD.

As a Merchandiser, you will support the Field Sales team in spreading the word about Lindt by:

• Building strong relationships with our customers in a designated territory
• Building POS (bins), to display Lindt products.
• Merchandising Lindt products at shelf e.g. Facing up, ticketing, investigating out of stocks and stocking shelves
• Stock rotation / cleaning / maintenance
• Identifying in-store display opportunities to drive increased brand exposure and sales volumes.
• Supporting your Area Manager with Preselling of the plan and negotiation of display locations
• Recording promotional compliance through CRM system
• Executing merchandising standards of excellence
• Reporting back on store and consumer insights

What you will bring:

• Previous grocery retail experience, ideally as a sales merchandiser or representative
• Confidence and commitment to work autonomously
• Ability to build strong customer relationships
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to productively plan and organise your working week
• Don’t mind getting some exercise in your day, whilst moving stock and building displays
• Ability to utilise an iPad (supplied) and associated software and apps
• Prior experience applying effective manual handling techniques
• A current "full" driver's licence and vehicle.
