ETISK - ecommerce & retail recruitment is seeking a Merchandising Manager ANZ to translate global fashion direction into local assortments across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll influence product selections and launches, guided by regional and global teams.
You’ll report to the Country Manager and lead two direct reports in visual merchandising and inventory, balancing data-driven decisions with cross-functional collaboration for successful launches.
Global collections need local judgement. Which products will resonate with Australian and New Zealand customers? What belongs in each channel? And what needs to happen across stock, pricing, marketing and visual merchandising to make each launch work?
That’s the focus of this Merchandising Manager ANZ role.
ETISK is partnering with an international fashion business with a portfolio of owned and licensed brands. Its global teams develop the collections and brand direction. You’ll take responsibility for translating that into relevant assortments and coordinated seasonal launches across Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting directly to the Country Manager, you’ll contribute to the local leadership team and manage two direct reports across visual merchandising and inventory.
You’ll have influence across the full journey from assortment decisions to launch readiness, with direct access to the Country Manager and regular contact with regional and global teams.
There’s a commercial and analytical side to the position, alongside plenty of coordination. You’ll review product performance and recommend what happens next, while making sure sales, marketing, inventory and visual merchandising have the information and plans they need.
Working within a global business also means balancing local opportunities with international brand guidelines, approval processes and deadlines. The role will suit someone who enjoys making decisions with data, building productive relationships and following through on the detail.
You’ll have experience in merchandising, planning or inventory management, supported by a strong understanding of wholesale and how product decisions affect commercial performance.
Your background could be within fashion, accessories or another relevant consumer product category. You’ll need to be comfortable working across functions and turning analysis into clear recommendations.
Based at the business’s head office on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, this role covers Australia and New Zealand and reports directly to the Country Manager.
