Job summary

TRACKS Care is seeking mentors to provide direct support and positive mentorship to male participants in the Northern Territory. The role involves getting out and about, building genuine connections, and helping individuals engage in activities they enjoy while working toward personal goals.

We're looking for reliable, respectful and patient people who can mentor in youth work or community services contexts, with the flexibility to adapt to varied daily activities and outings.

Qualifications

• Being genuine, down-to-earth and able to build positive connections.
• Reliable, respectful and patient.
• Experience in mentoring, youth work, community services or support work is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Building genuine, positive relationships with participants.
• Getting involved in sport, gym, fishing and community activities.
• Supporting participants to work towards their individual goals.
• Helping with appointments, shopping and everyday life skills.
• Encouraging confidence, independence and community connection.
• Supporting participation in activities that are meaningful to each individual.
• Providing consistent, respectful and positive mentorship.
