Job summary

CoastCare Sydney is recruiting experienced Support Workers and Mentors to join our MentorMate and SisterLink programs across Sydney. You will build genuine professional relationships, support participants to develop independence, confidence, life skills and meaningful community connections.

Roles include regular ongoing shifts and casual coverage across multiple locations such as Newtown, Austral, Sutherland Shire, Blacktown, Pennant Hills and Warrawee.

Qualifications

• Experience in disability, community services, youth work or mentoring.
• Ability to support participants to build independence and daily living skills.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism and person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide strengths-based mentoring and disability support.
• Help participants develop independence and social participation.
• Facilitate community access and attendance at appointments and activities.
• Maintain clear case notes and shift documentation.
• Follow individual support plans and risk-management procedures.
