Job summary

Western Health in Melbourne is seeking a Transition Program Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to lead practical clinical education across Mental Health & Wellbeing Services. You will support transition-to-practice nurses, graduates and postgraduate nurses through education programs and supervision.

Under the Mental Health Education Manager, you will build clinical capability, facilitate study days, and promote evidence-based practice while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across sites.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and postgraduate mental health qualifications.
• Experience in nursing education, clinical facilitation and staff development.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven leadership, coaching and the ability to support workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical education, supervision, coaching and mentorship to nursing staff and graduates.
• Develop, facilitate and evaluate education programs and professional development initiatives.
• Provide clinical guidance and promote evidence-based practice and high patient care standards.
• Support workforce development and progression monitoring for transition-to-practice nurses and graduates.
• Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance outcomes.
