Western Health is seeking a Transition Program Clinical Nurse Educator in Mental Health & Wellbeing Services. The role delivers practical clinical education and mentorship to graduate and transition-to-practice nurses across sites.
Under the Senior Mental Health Nurse and Education Manager, you will develop programs, strengthen clinical capability, and support ongoing professional development within a dynamic mental health workforce.
Competenze
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA and postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing.
- Experience in nursing education, clinical facilitation and staff development.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven leadership, coaching and mentoring to support workforce development.
Mansioni
- Deliver clinical education, supervision, coaching and mentorship to nursing staff and transition-to-practice nurses.
- Develop, facilitate and evaluate education programs and study days.
- Provide clinical guidance and promote evidence-based practice to improve patient care.
- Support workforce development through performance support and progression monitoring.
- Contribute to quality improvement activities to enhance outcomes.
