Job summary

Stride Mental Health in Adelaide is seeking a clinician to deliver evidence-based assessment, interventions and risk management within GP-integrated multidisciplinary services across southern Adelaide. You will collaborate with GPs, practice staff, and the broader team to provide stepped care for all ages, including children and families.

Qualifications

• Must have one of the following registrations: AHPRA psychology registrations or AASW social work registration.
• Extensive experience in mental health assessment, intervention, risk management and care planning.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary, multi-employer team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build partnerships with GPs and practice staff.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, including caseload management.
• Competence with electronic client records and data systems.
• Commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed and culturally safe practice including with LGBTIQA+ and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills for working with people with mental illness.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Eligible to apply/currently hold WWCC; willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
• Current driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based assessment, brief and ongoing interventions, risk management and collaborative care planning for people of all ages.
• Work with GPs, practice staff and partner workforce to provide integrated, stepped care in general practice.
• Contribute to development of the service model and practice manual as the service is established.
