Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Mental Health Consultant to join our Mental Health Team for a 12-month contract in Melbourne. You will collaborate with expert claims teams to influence the management of mental injury claims, coaching, mentoring, and guiding treating health practitioners and employers.

You will drive RTW strategy, perform trend analysis, identify risks, oversee daily claims activities, and support case managers with complex cases in a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology or related mental health discipline.

Responsibilities

• Implement RTW Strategy for mental injury claims.
• Identify risks through trend analysis and plan continuous improvement.
• Develop strategies to close skill gaps in Mental Injury Claims Management.
• Facilitate meetings with health practitioners, injured workers, and employers for safe RTW.
• Oversee daily activities and administrative duties related to mental injury claims.
