Job summary

Fernwood Fitness Belconnen is seeking an experienced Membership Sales Consultant to drive club growth through proactive lead generation, consultative sales, and member onboarding. You will be the first contact for prospective members, responsible for converting enquiries, conducting tours, and meeting or exceeding membership targets within a supportive women-only environment.

This part-time role offers base salary plus uncapped commission and Fernwood membership.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with targets and a track record of converting leads.
• Experience in membership sales, fitness sales, or a similar results-driven environment is preferred.
• Strong closing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage prospects over the phone and face-to-face.
• Ability to follow sales processes, manage pipelines, and nurture leads.

Responsibilities

• Convert enquiries into memberships through effective sales conversations and follow-up.
• Conduct club tours and present the value of Fernwood's services and programs.
• Generate new business opportunities within the local community.
• Meet and exceed membership sales targets and KPIs.
• Manage member inquiries via phone, email, social media, and in person.
• Build strong relationships with members and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Front desk and reception duties.
• Administrative tasks, data management, and member communications.
• Assist with club marketing initiatives, member engagement, and community outreach.
