PCYC Queensland in Cloncurry is seeking a passionate Gym and Fitness Instructor to deliver group fitness programs and contribute to community health. You’ll engage members across all ages, drive participation, and support junior staff while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Eligible applicants hold Certificate III in Fitness, AUSactive accreditation, and current First Aid/CPR. The role offers not-for-profit benefits and a welcoming, values-driven team culture.

Qualifications

• Holds a Certificate III (SIS30321) in Fitness or equivalent AQF qualification.
• Holds industry accreditation, preferably AUSactive.
• Demonstrated instructional experience and program design skills.
• Currently certified in First Aid and CPR.

Responsabilités

• Develop and deliver our broad range of group fitness programs to PCYC clients.
• Contribute to improving programs and attracting/retaining participants.
• Assist with development of junior staff and maintain high customer service.

$41.84 per hour (please note that junior rates may apply)

We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Gym and Fitness Instructor to join our PCYC Cloncurry Youth Club, to assist with the delivery of our fitness programs to PCYC clients. Whether you are experienced or new to this industry, if you are hard-working and love all things fitness, then we want you!

Your New Role

You will be a valuable Gym and Fitness Instructor who will develop and deliver our broad range of group fitness programs to our PCYC clients of all ages. You will be responsible for contributing towards improving our programs, attracting and retaining new participants, assisting with the development of junior staff and commit to a high level of customer service at all times. About You

• Hold a minimum Certificate III (SIS30321) in Fitness or equivalent AQF qualification in a relevant area of practice (GEL qualification is not accepted). Core units SISFFIT032, SISFFIT033, SISFFIT035, SISFFIT036 are required.
• Holds industry accreditation, preferably with AUSactive
• Instructional experience in the relevant area of practice.
• Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of programs
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate
