Job summary

Medical Indemnity Protection Society (MIPS) in Melbourne is seeking two Member Relationship Consultants to provide exceptional service to healthcare professionals. You will handle inquiries, deliver quotes and guide members through the application process, while building trusted relationships and understanding member needs.

As part of the Member Experience team, you will contribute insights to improve member support, maintain CRM records, and help achieve service targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or relationship management with a passion for helping people.
• Confident communicator with ability to build rapport and influence outcomes.
• Organised, detail-oriented and proficient with CRM systems and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver service to prospective and existing members via phone, email and digital channels, provide quotes and membership advice.
• Build relationships with healthcare professionals and recommend appropriate membership solutions.
• Hit service levels and performance targets; maintain accurate CRM records.
• Collaborate with team to improve processes, member experience and efficiency.
• Keep knowledge of MIPS products and healthcare indemnity up to date to advise members.

An exciting opportunity has opened up at MIPS for two Member Relationship Consultants, with one position based in Melbourne and the other in Brisbane.

As a Member Relationship Consultant, you'll be the first point of contact for healthcare professionals looking to join MIPS. Every conversation is an opportunity to build trust, understand our members' unique needs and provide expert guidance that helps them make informed decisions about their professional protection.

Working as part of our Member Experience team, you'll deliver a seamless and personalised experience from initial enquiry through to membership, while contributing valuable insights that help us continually improve how we support our members.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering exceptional service to prospective and existing members through phone, email and digital channels, providing quotes, membership advice and application support.
• Building strong relationships with healthcare professionals by understanding their needs and recommending the most appropriate membership solutions.
• Achieving agreed service levels and performance targets while maintaining accurate records within our CRM and member systems.
• Collaborating with your team to identify opportunities to improve processes, member experience and operational efficiency.
• Continuously developing your knowledge of MIPS products, the healthcare industry and medical indemnity to provide trusted advice to members.

About You

• You have experience in customer service, relationship management, internal sales or member acquisition, with a genuine passion for helping people.
• You're a confident communicator who enjoys building rapport, influencing outcomes and delivering exceptional service.
• You have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and are comfortable using CRM systems and digital technologies.
• You're proactive, resilient and motivated by achieving goals while maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism.
