Job summary

The Australian Medical Association (NSW) is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan and deliver a diverse calendar of events, both in person and online, while managing all events logistics and budgets. This busy, hands-on role includes developing event content and gathering feedback to enhance future programs.

You will also assist the membership team in providing excellent customer service to our members, with occasional work outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating in-person and online events.
• Ability to manage event budgets and track expenditure.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Customer service focus with member engagement.

Responsibilities

• End to end management of in person and online events.
• Liaison with event venues, vendors, exhibitors and stakeholders.
• Event logistics including registration, ticketing, catering, AV, name tags, run sheets and travel arrangements.
• Management of event budgets and monitor and report on expenditure.
• Coordination of event quotes and invoice payments.
