Bayside Group is seeking a Building Assessor to travel across the greater Melbourne area assessing the condition of publicly owned buildings. You will collect data using tablets, 3D imaging cameras or smartphones, and rate building fabrics on site.

Responsibilities include precise data capture, documenting defects with clear imagery, and ensuring high data quality. You will work independently or with a team, and must be ready to travel as required within Victoria.

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of materials used in construction and fit out, and ability to identify defects, damage and maintenance issues.
• Experience with defect or condition inspections and data capture on large commercial buildings or multisite projects.
• Access to a reliable vehicle, a valid Australian driver's license, and willingness to travel around Melbourne.
• Proficient with smartphones, tablets and laptops and basic troubleshooting.
• Professional demeanor and ability to work autonomously or in a team.

• Identify and record data on location and condition of building fabrics (cladding, walls, floors, ceilings).
• Provide thorough, accurate data capture and upload data as directed to minimise data loss.
• Capture clear images of defects, hazards and assets; apply correct condition rating.
