Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Teaching Support Officer for Medicine Teaching Support in Sydney to provide administrative and teaching coordination support for undergraduate coursework in the Faculty of Medicine & Health.

Level 5/6 responsibilities include term planning, timetabling, class management, LMS coordination, assessment support, student admin, and proactive customer service. The role is continuing, full-time with a competitive salary and 17% super.

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualification with experience or equivalent competence.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently while managing competing demands.
Experience providing customer service and support to clients at all levels.
Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced time management, organisational and problem-solving skills.
High proficiency with computer systems and UNSW enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day teaching support activities including term planning and timetabling.
Manage class logistics, LMS coordination, and assessment/examination coordination.
Provide high-quality customer service and student administration support.
Contribute to process improvements and collaborative work across units.
