Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Medical Workforce Governance Officer (Health Manager Level 1) to manage workflows and provide administrative support to the Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee and subcommittees across SLHD Executive Medical Services.

You will work with diverse stakeholders, provide interpretation of procedures, draft briefs, and ensure timely, customer-focused, efficient services to staff and patient care.

Qualifications

• High level verbal and written communication skills required; experience supporting committees or boards.
• Ability to interpret and apply procedures within medical workforce governance.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration support to the Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee and subcommittees.
• Manage workflows and ensure timely, efficient services to staff and patients.
• Develop local procedures to support policy standards and provide interpretation to stakeholders.
• Travel as required and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
