Job summary

L’Oréal Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Medical Representative for the Western Suburbs of Melbourne on a 6‑month maximum term contract. You will connect dermatologists and GPs to our dermatological brands and drive territory performance with face‑to‑face and digital engagements.

You will report to the Medical Field Manager and work across Medical, Commercial and Marketing teams, logging activity in Veeva CRM and representing the brand at conferences and events.

Qualifications

• Stakeholder and relationship management with dermatologists and GPs.
• Commercial and customer-centric selling approach.
• Clinical/therapeutic knowledge in dermatology advantageous.
• CRM and data-driven reporting experience (Veeva beneficial).

Responsibilities

• Engage dermatologists and GPs, detailing dermatological formulations and securing clinical recommendations.
• Develop territory plans and execute omnichannel activities for a personalised experience.

A Day in the Life

You will report to the Medical Field Manager and join the VIC Medical Field team on a 6 month maximum term contract. This role connects dermatologists and GPs to our dermatological brands and drives territory performance across the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.

• Customer Engagement & Growth: Build strong relationships with dermatologists and GPs, detail dermatological formulations and secure clinical recommendations.
• Territory Planning & Omnichannel Execution: Develop and implement a territory business plan combining face‑to‑face and digital engagements to deliver a personalised omni‑channel customer experience.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with Medical, Commercial and Marketing teams; share intel with your territory brand buddy and log daily activity in Veeva CRM.
• Events & Advocacy: Represent the brand at conferences, host or attend medical events and act as a trusted brand ambassador.

We Are Looking For

You are motivated, curious and commercially minded with strong interpersonal skills. Required:

• Stakeholder & Relationship Management
• Commercial & Customer‑Centric Selling
• Clinical / Therapeutic Knowledge (dermatology advantageous)
• CRM & Data‑driven Reporting (Veeva experience beneficial) Tertiary qualifications in pharmacy or a field of science preferred but not essential. Previous medical sales experience with GPs or specialists is highly regarded.
