Job summary

Advara HeartCare is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our Nowra/Shellharbour clinics on a permanent full-time basis. You will provide friendly administrative support, book testing, liaise with hospital staff and doctors, and manage patient accounts. Travel between sites is required.

The successful candidate will be patient-focused, highly organised and capable of handling high volumes of inquiries with a professional phone manner.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organisational and communication skills to support a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in billing/receipting medical accounts and Medicare/DVA billing.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients on arrival and process relevant paperwork accurately.
• Schedule and reschedule testing and appointments; answer high-volume inquiries.
• Billing and receipting of patient accounts; manage daily banking reconciliation.
• Liaise with hospital staff and doctors; document scanning as needed.
