Northside Clinic in Melbourne's inner north is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. This casual role covers weekdays, after hours and weekends, with flexibility to cover leave.

You will welcome patients, book appointments, answer calls, process payments, and manage records using Best Practice software. A patient‑focused, detail‑driven approach and strong computer skills are essential. Join a friendly, supportive environment serving LGBTIQA+ and HIV positive communities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an accredited general practice is preferred.
• Experience using Best Practice software is a significant advantage.
• Retail experience may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients with enquiries and appointments.
• Answer and respond to telephone enquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Accurately process patient payments (cash, EFTPOS, direct billing).
• Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice records.
• Contribute to the smooth daily operations of the medical center.

Northside Clinic is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. The position is casual (weekdays, after hours and weekends) with the flexibility to cover sick leave and annual leave.

Northside Clinic has a particular focus on providing quality medical care in a safe and friendly environment for the LGBTIQA+ and HIV positive communities in Melbourne's inner north. We also provide General Practice care to the local community in Fitzroy North.
