Capital Radiology is seeking a Medical Receptionist for our Footscray Western Private Hospital clinic in Melbourne, a full-time role with flexibility to travel to nearby west clinics such as Spotswood when required.

You will join a supportive team with comprehensive training, focus on exceptional customer service, and opportunities for growth across IDX’s network of clinics.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and patient focus required.
• Front of house reception and greeting patients.
• Experience with scheduling, invoices, and Medicare rebates beneficial.
• Ability to enter/update patient registrations and maintain a neat reception area.

Responsibilities

• Managing all phone inquiries professionally and confidentially.
• Front of house reception and patient greeting.
• Schedule appointments for patients and referrers.
• Issue invoices/receipts and process Medicare rebates as required.

About The Role

The role also requires flexibility to travel and support nearby west clinics for example Spotswood when required. As a medical receptionist you will be responsible for

• Managing all phone enquiries in a timely, professional and confidential manner
• Front of house reception / greeting patients upon arrival
• Schedule appointments for patients and referrers
• Issue patient invoices/receipts and process Medicare rebates as required
• Enter and update patient registration details
• Ensure the reception and waiting area is clean and presentable at all times

You Will Have

• Strong customer service and patient focus skills
• Eagerness to learn
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
• Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
• Experience in a Radiology background, as well as exposure to Medicare services will be highly regarded
• Drivers license and a car
