Job summary

I-MED Radiology Network is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to support our Darwin Private Hospital and Palmerston Health Precinct. This full-time, 12-month fixed-term role covers front reception and phone duties, with shifts from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, across two sites.

You will welcome patients, manage appointments and records, handle inquiries, and coordinate referrals while providing excellent customer service in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident using computer systems and medical software.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
• Reliable and available for full-time hours (Mon-Fri).

Are you a people-focused professional with a passion for healthcare? We're looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team across Darwin Private Hospital and the Palmerston Health Precinct.

Full-Time 12-month fixed term | Monday to Friday | Shifts between 7:00am - 5:00pm

Based across Darwin Private Hospital & Palmerston Health Precinct

Rotating role between front reception and phone-based shifts (6 weeks reception + 2 week phone)

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism

• Handle incoming calls and assist with patient inquiries and bookings
• Coordinate referrals and liaise with medical professionals
