Job summary

Sonic HealthPlus is seeking a Medical Officer to join our team at ANZAC House, Perth. You will conduct pre‑employment occupational suitability assessments for Australian Defence Force candidates as part of the Defence Force Recruiting program.

You will collaborate with Doctors, Nurses, and Screening staff to deliver high‑quality healthcare assessments, with a comprehensive onboarding program to support you from day one.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship.
• Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent).
• Current AHPRA registration (General Registration minimum).
• Ability to obtain: National Police Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Working with Children Check.
• Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance (Sonic HealthPlus will support this process).
• Minimum 5 years post‑graduate experience.
• Previous Defence Force experience or military service (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑employment occupational suitability assessments for Australian Defence Force (ADF) candidates.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of Doctors, Nurses, and Screening staff.
• Complete onboarding and training to feel confident and supported from day one.
