Job summary

NSW Health Pathology is seeking a permanent part-time Medical Laboratory Assistant to join the team at Calvary Mater Newcastle. The role offers exposure to a range of laboratory equipment and techniques within a busy hospital environment, with ongoing professional development opportunities.

You will contribute to a high-quality pathology service, handling specimen reception, triage, patient registration and preparation for transport to laboratories for timely diagnostic testing.

About The Opportunity

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with a small, dedicated team within a busy hospital environment. The position offers exposure to a range of laboratory equipment and techniques in a multi-discipline laboratory which offers the opportunity for ongoing professional development.
