Evolve Talent is seeking a Senior Imaging Leader to head a 40-person medical imaging department in regional Victoria. The role covers MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray, with full operational, clinical and strategic remit.

You will lead modality leads and a 12-person admin team, drive budgeting, rosters and service performance, ensure radiation safety, accreditation, governance, and lead quality improvement and technology strategy.

This is a senior leadership role in regional Victoria. You'll head a 40-person medical imaging department covering MRI, CT, ultrasound and general X-ray.

You’ll be responsible for the operational, clinical and strategic leadership of the department, inclusive of 40 FTE. Your leadership team includes:

• 4 Modality Leads: MRI, CT, Ultrasound and X-ray
• An Administration Manager overseeing a team of 12 administration officers

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic and operational leadership across all imaging modalities
• Leading, developing and supporting modality leads and the wider team to build a positive, high-performing culture
• Managing budgets, resourcing, rosters and service performance
• Making sure the department meets radiation safety, accreditation and regulatory requirements
• Driving quality improvement, service planning and equipment and technology strategy

About you

• Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
• Significant leadership experience in medical imaging, ideally managing multi-modality services
• Strong people leadership, with a record of building teams
• Sound financial, operational and change management skills
• A solid understanding of radiation safety, accreditation standards and clinical governance
