Job summary

Central Gippsland Health in Victoria is seeking an MRI Radiographer to join our Medical Imaging Department at Grade 2. The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time considerations and involves working across MRI, CT and Mammography, plus participation in the after-hours on-call roster.

You will operate a GE Signa Artist MRI system (commissioned 2020) with an upcoming upgrade, and benefit from a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, strong development opportunities across imaging

• Registered radiographer with AHPRA and MRI competency.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations with high-quality image acquisition.
• Participate in after-hours on-call roster.
• Assist in developing cross-training across CT and Mammography.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic MRI Radiographer to join our Medical Imaging Department.

This role provides the opportunity to work across a diverse imaging service while developing skills in additional modalities, including:

• MRI
• CT (training and development opportunities available)

• Participation in the after-hours on-call roster

Our MRI service operates from a GE Signa Artist MRI system, commissioned in 2020, delivering advanced imaging capabilities across a broad range of examinations. Excitingly, the scanner is scheduled for a significant upgrade within the next six months, ensuring continued access to the latest MRI technology and enhanced clinical capabilities.

About You Essential

• AHPRA Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
• MRI experience and demonstrated MRI competency
• Victorian Radiation Use Licence (or eligibility)
• Strong patient-focused approach
