Job summary

Western Health's Medical Imaging Informatics team is seeking an experienced Application Support & Change Analyst to maintain RIS, PACS and CVIS systems across hospital services in Victoria. You will work with clinical, IT and vendor teams to ensure safe, efficient image workflows and drive interoperability initiatives.

You will combine clinical workflow knowledge with business analysis, quality control and project coordination to support system upgrades, testing, training and user adoption,

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Medical Imaging clinical applications (RIS, PACS).
• Understanding of Medical Imaging clinical workflows.
• Experience with digital transformation projects in healthcare.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, DICOM).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience with CVIS and enterprise imaging platforms is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced application support for RIS, PACS, CVIS and image exchange platforms.
• Support digital transformation programs including workflow redesign and stakeholder adoption.
• Coordinate system upgrades, go-live activities, and user acceptance testing.
• Monitor HL7, DICOM, and API-based interfaces with Digital Health and ICT teams.
• Deliver user training and create workflow documentation.
