Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional driver and/or in a driver training or supervisory role.
• Solid understanding of transport legislation and safety procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to instruct, engage, and influence.

Responsibilities

• Induct new drivers on the Smartways Standard, safe driving practices, fatigue policy, and company procedures.
• Train drivers on loading/unloading, freight handling, documentation, and Smartways devices.
• Ensure new owner drivers are fully equipped before solo driving.
