Job summary

SBS is looking for a proactive Sales Support role based in Artarmon, Sydney, with hybrid work options (up to 2 days from home). You’ll collaborate with the Sales Executive team to maximize development opportunities and assist in revenue reporting.

Key tasks include providing sales support, managing TV and Online bookings, responding to client briefs, and maintaining records; the role starts within a base salary range and grows after probation.

This role is classified as Level 1 role under SBS Australia's current Enterprise Agreement, with a base salary range starting at $57,676, increasing to $61,827 after the 6-month probation period.

The Role

As part of your role, you'll be partnering with our wonderful Sales Executive team who will provide additional mentoring and guidance to maximise your development opportunities and employee experience.

Additionally, this role will see you:

• Provide general support to the sales team: this goes from basic administrative duties to creating sales schedules for TV and Digital; assisting in putting together sales proposals, presentations and documents for clients or preparing weekly revenue reports.
• Manage TV and Online sales bookings, liaise with clients and media agencies regarding bookings, schedule times and maintain appropriate files/records.
• Monitor digital inventory, develop media schedules, respond to client briefs in consultation with the Sales Executive, online campaign reporting and sourcing online creative.
• Provide sales support to the general sales team when required including attending meetings, maintaining client databases, identifying revenue opportunities within the advertising schedules.

This is a full-time, ongoing role based in Artarmon office, located in North Sydney. Hybrid working options available - up to 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office.

About you

We are looking for proactive candidates with a collaborative mindset, capable of working autonomously as well as in a team.

Ideally, you would have:

• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and be keen to learn new software packages.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite to prepare general correspondence, sales presentations, reports and spreadsheets.
• Ability to build strong professional relationships
• Well organised and detail oriented
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
