Job summary

Regis Resources is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor (LV Workshop) at the Duketon operations. This site-based, FIFO 8:6 roster ex-Perth role provides direct supervision of tradespersons and contractors, focusing on maintenance execution and reliability.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will drive maintenance strategies, plan activities, and ensure fit-for-purpose lifecycle management of the LV fleet.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification/technical certificate.
• Mining experience in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• S26 exposure, certificate or ability to obtain certificate.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of tradespersons and contractors in the LV Workshop.
• Implement maintenance strategies to deliver equipment performance.
• Ensure reliability, maintenance and planning practices are in place.
• Support planning to maintain and improve LV fleet reliability.
• Resolve maintenance priorities to align with production goals.
• Plan activities for continuous safety and production improvements.
• Use condition monitoring to determine optimal life cycles.

Job Description

The opportunity

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Supervisor (LV Workshop) to join the maintenance team at our Duketon operations.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Mechanical Supervisor (LV Workshop) provides direct supervision of the activities of tradespersons / technicians (including contractors) and ancillary personnel, within the LV Workshop.

This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster ex-Perth.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

• Direct supervision of the activities of tradespersons / technicians (including contractors)
• Implement maintenance strategies that deliver the required equipment performance
• Ensure fit for purpose reliability, maintenance and planning practices are in place
• Support the planning processes required to maintain and improve the reliability of the LV fleet
• Resolve maintenance priorities in conformance with short-term and long-term production goals
• Plan activities leading to continuous improvement of safety and production
• Utilise condition monitoring and inspections to determine optimum equipment life cycles
• Establish and maintain strong links with key suppliers/vendors for engineering/technical support

• Demonstrated mining & resources experience in a leadership role
