Job summary

EnerMech is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join our Gladstone team on a full-time basis. The role reports to the Project Manager and involves on-site leadership of mechanical and engineering scopes within oil & gas, mining or industrial environments.

The successful candidate will oversee job packs, coordinate site/workshop activities, manage safety and quality documentation, and ensure project deliverables meet time, cost, quality and scope requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience supervising mechanical & engineering scopes in oil, gas, mining or industrial environments.
• Nationally recognised trade qualification required.
• Proven leadership and team management with a positive can-do attitude.
• Strong commitment to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).

Responsibilities

• Prepare job packs for on-site activities.
• Report to on-site services manager/project manager.
• Negotiate with suppliers and procure materials and services.
• Coordinate on-site and workshop activities.
• Manage processes to meet time, cost, quality and scope requirements.
• Prepare HSE and Quality documentation and ensure safety/compliance of all scopes and crews.
• Drive continuous safety improvements and a strong safety culture.
• Make decisions based on knowledge and experience.
• Track workforce hours and productivity.

The Role

EnerMech are recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to work on site with us in Gladstone. This is a full time position reporting to the Project Manager. Duties will include;

• Preparation of job packs


• Report directly to on site services manager/ project manager


• Negotiation with suppliers and procurement of materials and services


• Coordination of site and workshop activities


• Management of processes to ensure project and contractual deliverables including time, cost, quality, and scope requirements


• Preparation of HSE and Quality compliance documentation, Control and assurance of the safety and compliance of all onsite and workshop scopes and work crews


• Ensure safety of all employees and contractors working in operating unit or department by driving continuous improvement towards a true safety culture


• Be able to make decisions based on knowledge and experience


• Manage and capture workforce hours and productivity

Applicants must have:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Supervision of Mechanical & Engineering Scopes in an Oil and Gas, Mining, or Industrial environment


• Minimum of a Nationally Recognised Trade qualification


• Proven Leadership, Team Management with a positive can-do attitude


• Good problem-solving skills


• A demonstrated strong commitment to Health, Safety and Environment
