Reliable Conveyor Belt is seeking a hands-on Rubber/Mechanical Supervisor to lead a skilled crew at Lithgow, NSW. You will oversee maintenance, drive safety, and build strong client relationships while balancing hands-on work.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Proficiency in Engineering – Mechanical.
• Proven experience in preventive maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Leadership skills with coaching and mentoring.
• Dogging & Rigging tickets highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and client engagement.
• Commitment to WHSE excellence and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of belt splicers, trainees, and trades staff.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient site operations.
• Plan and oversee shutdowns, inspections, and audits.
• Work hands-on with pulley, bearing, and mechanical maintenance.
• Drive a safety-first culture and WHSE compliance.
• Engage directly with clients to maintain relationships and service standards.
• Promote reliability and continuous improvement across site activities.
