Endless Belt, a market leader in conveyor belting services in NSW, seeks Conveyor Belt Splicers from entry level to experienced in Lithgow. Duties include installing, repairing and maintaining fabric and solid woven belts, solving belt issues on site or in the workshop, and performing maintenance while prioritising safety.

Weekend overtime is expected, with in-workshop or customer-site work. Entry-level applicants should show mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and a drive to learn; experienced

Competenze

• Mechanical aptitude and a strong safety focus.
• Experience in labouring, construction, trades or heavy industry is a bonus.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in a rare and necessary trade.
• Ability to work in a team and follow procedures.

Mansioni

Conveyor Belt Splicers - Entry Level to Experienced

Endless Belt is a market leader in the supply of conveyor belting services for industrial applications in NSW. Established in 1982, we provide a range of conveyor services including breakdown service, planned installation & maintenance and inspection services.

We currently have positions available for Experienced/Qualified Belt Splicers and Trainee Belt Splicers in our Lithgowbased operations.

Job Tasks and responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain fabric and solid woven conveyor belt

• Problem solve issues with conveyor belt operations both on-site and in the workshop

• Scheduled and preventative maintenance

• Work safely in a team situation, both in our workshop and on customer sites

• Availability for weekend overtime is expected

Skills and experience

Entry Level:

• Mechanical aptitude

• A strong work ethic and a focus on workplace safety

• Experience in labouring, construction, trades or heavy industry is a bonus

• Willingness to learn and develop skills in a rare and necessary trade

Experienced:

• Cert III in Polymer Processing or currently working toward it

• Proven experience with installing & working with conveyor belt systems.

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for own actions
