Evolution Mining's Northparkes Operations invites applications for a Mechanical Project Engineer. You will join the Sustaining Capital team, owning a diverse portfolio of mechanical projects and turning concepts into practical, value-adding solutions on site.

This residential role offers a 9 day fortnight—5:2/4:3 roster—allowing a great lifestyle while contributing to meaningful capital projects. Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical, you will develop scopes, engage contractors

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering projects within mining, heavy industry, manufacturing or construction.
• Strong project planning, stakeholder engagement and problem solving skills.
• Ability to develop scopes of work and technical documentation.
• Experience managing contractors or project work packages.
• Current driver’s licence.
• A proactive and solutions focused approach.

• Deliver mechanical capital projects safely, efficiently and successfully.
• Develop scopes of work that drive quality project outcomes.
• Improve plant infrastructure through sustaining capital initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders, contractors and operational teams.

From developing scopes and engineering solutions through to project delivery and contractor engagement, your work will have a direct impact on the success of the operation.
