Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer at Northparkes Operations, Australia. You will join the Sustaining Capital team and own a diverse portfolio of mechanical projects from concept through delivery, with a 9 day fortnight roster and residential arrangements.

You will deliver projects safely, drive scopes, engage with contractors and stakeholders, and influence safety, cost, schedule and quality to create lasting value for the operation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering projects within mining, heavy industry, manufacturing or construction.
• Strong project planning, stakeholder engagement and problem solving skills.
• Ability to develop scopes of work and technical documentation.
• Experience managing contractors or project work packages.
• Current driver’s licence.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

Play a key role in delivering the projects that keep Northparkes operating, improving and growing. As our Mechanical Project Engineer, you'll join the Sustaining Capital team and take ownership of a diverse portfolio of mechanical projects, helping turn concepts into practical solutions that create lasting value across site.

With the flexibility of a 9 day fortnight - 5:2/4:3 roster, this residential role offers the opportunity to enjoy a great lifestyle while contributing to meaningful capital projects. From developing scopes and engineering solutions through to project delivery and contractor engagement, your work will have a direct impact on the success of the operation.
