Job summary

Macadamia Farm Management in Welcome Creek, QLD, is seeking a hands-on mechanical fitter with strong hydraulic skills to join our workshop team. You will help build, maintain and improve the machinery that supports one of Australia’s leading macadamia producers, operating in a practical, safety-focused culture.

Trade qualification or equivalent experience is required, with the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Hydraulic component installation, system commissioning and repairs
• Assist with the development of new machinery and equipment to support farm operations
• Mechanical assembly of components on harvesting and related equipment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet specifications and standards
• Support general repairs and maintenance across farm machinery
• Share your knowledge and support other workshop team members

Location: Welcome Creek, QLD (15 minutes from Bundaberg)

Pay: Competitive rate based on skills and experience (negotiated with the successful candidate)

Hours: minimum 38 hours per week
