Job summary

Programmed in Sydney is offering a 2nd/3rd year Mechanical Fitter Apprentice role, based in Western Sydney. You will learn from qualified tradespeople, on-site and in workshop environments, while attending TAFE for formal training.

This apprenticeship can lead to future supervisor or manager opportunities within the West Region Delivery Team. We invest in your development, provide PPE and uniforms, and support a safe, inclusive workplace.

The Role

Due to continued growth, we are looking for hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to join our Sydney Water team as a 2nd or 3rd year MechanicalApprentice, based in Western Sydney you will be working for the West Region Delivery Team. You will be working closely with qualified and experienced tradespeople, Supervisors and even other Apprentices, you will gain valuable skills & knowledge to ultimately secure your trade qualification.

As a Mechanical Apprentice you will learn how to install and assemble parts made from metal and other materials to service or repair various equipment and machinery for industrial purposes and will have exposure to working in a workshop environment as well as client sites. Your week will incorporate learning the trade at Tafe and receiving hands-on, on-the-job training.

We will invest in your apprenticeship so you can continue your career with us, with potential to move into Leadership roles such as a Supervisor or Manager in the future. An apprenticeship can open a world of possibilities.
