Recruit Shop Pty Ltd in Bassendean, WA is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of plant and equipment across site or workshop facilities. You will diagnose faults, dismantle and reassemble components, and maintain accurate work records.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years' experience in mining/oil & gas or manufacturing, with a Certificate III in Engineering or Mechanical Trade and relevant tickets. WHS compliance and teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter in mining, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
• Certificate III in Engineering or Mechanical Trade or equivalent.
• Current driver's licence, white card, and tickets such as rigging, dogging or forklift.
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience interpreting technical manuals and drawings.
• Safety-focused with adherence to WHS policies.

Responsibilities

• Performing planned and unplanned maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment.

About The Opportunity

As a Mechanical Fitter, your primary purpose will be to perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation of plant and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation across site or workshop facilities. Key responsibilities include:

About You
