Workfast is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for a permanent, full-time position. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing and servicing machinery to ensure safe, reliable operations with a 9-day fortnight and an improved work-life balance. Immediate start available.

You'll work with a team to minimise downtime, troubleshoot mechanical issues and support preventative maintenance across production. A strong trade qualification and fault-finding ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

• Relevant Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
• Experience in industrial maintenance/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on machinery, plant and equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
