Job summary

Maxwell Recruitment has an opening for an experienced Mechanical Fitter in a busy packaging-focused manufacturing plant. The role requires hands-on experience with manufacturing or FMCG facilities and fixed plant machinery fitting, performing planned and reactive maintenance to keep equipment running.

You will identify issues, implement preventative tactics, and assist with parts, refurbishments and troubleshooting, with a strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A certificate III as a Fitter is essential.
• Experience in a packaging environment is strongly desired for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the maintenance of plant machinery throughout the packaging department.
