Skips and Scrap Recycling in Tomago is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team at the Tomago Depot. You will perform welding, fabrication, and routine mechanical work to keep plant and equipment running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a strong maintenance background with a minimum of four years’ experience, a safety‑minded approach, and the ability to work well in a team. Australian work rights are required.

Due to continued growth throughout the business, Skips and Scrap are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join the team in the Tomago Depot.

Key responsibilities

• General welding
• Fabricating
• Minor mechanical work
• Maintenance, servicing and repairs to plant and equipment including trucks, mobile machinery, stationary plant and equipment
• Support daily operations to ensure smooth functionality of the plant

About you

• Strong maintenance background
• Minimum 4 years experience
